Enara and Alpine Medical Center Partner to Facilitate AI-Driven Early Intervention for Children with Special Needs

Al Ain, UAE: Enara, powered by CognitiveBotics MENA, has partnered with Al Ain’s Alpine Medical Center to improve therapy for children with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, and other developmental challenges. By combining Enara's AI technology with Alpine's clinical expertise, this partnership aims to nurture and improve critical skills, such as communication, cognition, and motor skills, in neurodiverse children.

Enara’s therapist and parent platforms provide interactive activities and games for children to achieve learning milestones appropriate to their developmental stage. It uses features like multi-modal detection—gaze, motion, and voice—along with video modelling and an appealing response system to keep children engaged while boosting skill acquisition.

“Integrating Enara’s technology allows us to customize therapy to each child’s needs and track their progress in ways that traditional methods cannot,” said Lina Rabah, CEO of Alpine Medical Center.

This partnership holds particular significance in the UAE, where government and national initiatives are increasingly focused on providing accessible, comprehensive support for people with special needs. As part of the country’s broader commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunities through emerging technology, it addresses the growing demand for specialized care for children facing learning challenges.

“We’re excited to collaborate with Alpine Medical Center,” said Hala Abul Haj, Enara’s Head of Therapy. “By leveraging AI, we’re creating a smarter, more inclusive approach to early intervention—one that empowers families and has a lasting impact on the lives of the neurodiverse community.”

Therapy Continues Beyond the Clinic

Enara recognizes the important role of parents in a child’s learning journey. It provides step-by-step tutorials to guide parents and help children complete activities designed to meet key learning objectives.

Meanwhile, Enara’s Daily Journal tracks children’s behavioural patterns, while progress reports provide valuable insights into the therapy process. These tools enable therapists to identify areas for improvement and assist parents in reinforcing therapy at home or remotely.

“Our partnership with Enara extends therapy beyond the clinical setting,” said Eiman ElBaik, Rehabilitation Director at Alpine Medical Center. “Parents are essential in strengthening learning and skill development during the early intervention phase. That’s why we’ve integrated Enara into our therapy process. With its AI-driven features and ongoing guidance from therapists to parents, therapy continues at home, ensuring sustained progress for the child.
